Working principle:
Raw water first passes through pre-treatment filters such as sand filters and PP filters to remove suspended solids and impurities. Then, the water enters the resin tank where ion exchange resin removes calcium and magnesium ions responsible for hardness.
As the resin becomes saturated, the system initiates an automatic regeneration process using a salt solution. This restores the resin’s ion exchange capacity. The treated soft water is then supplied to the boiler system, effectively reducing scale formation and improving thermal efficiency.
